Job coaching
You will only know what you are really called to do once you learn to listen to and follow your inner voice.
Job coaching for career starters and experienced professionals
Job coaching thrives equally on professional support and on the personal responsibility of those seeking advice. All of our association’s coaches follow this principle and are on hand to help you find the right career path. The job coaching services offered by our experts are aimed both at career starters who are looking for the right direction after leaving school or training and at experienced professionals who are looking for a new direction or reorientation.
Regardless of which target group you belong to, the job coaching provided by our certified coaches is designed to accompany you on the path to a self-determined, meaningful professional life. Not by giving you directions, but by enabling you to recognize your own talents, strengths and abilities and define your own goals.

JOB COACHING FOR CAREER STARTERS
Educational training, studies or both?
Some people start planning their career while they are still at primary school, while others still don’t know where they want to go, even with their A-levels in the bag. When it becomes unavoidable to deal with one’s own professional future, worries and doubts often arise among those who are undecided: How do I know what’s right for me? University, an apprenticeship or perhaps a dual study program? Can a voluntary social or ecological year or a work-and-travel phase help me to find my bearings? In which professional direction should I go? The feeling of making a decision for life with your current choice can be very stressful for young people.

Scope of career guidance coaching: two to six hours on average
Good coaching gives career starters the space to deal with their career choice systematically but without pressure. With structured offers, our experts help young people to become aware of their wishes and ideas, strengths and weaknesses. In this way, freedom of choice can be seen for what it actually is: an opportunity.
Job coaching for career starters usually consists of the following steps:
- Analysis of own talents and skills
- Discussion of possible job prospects
- Definition of goals and motivation
- Strengthening confidence that you can achieve your goals
Job coaching encourages people to see freedom as something positive. As an opportunity to do exactly the right thing for themselves.

JOB COACHING FOR EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS
A way out of a professional dead end
According to the latest studies, 90 percent of Germans are dissatisfied with their jobs. An astonishing figure that says a lot about what makes us tick at work. The fact that nine out of ten people are unhappy at work indicates one thing above all: Fear of change. In other words: Most people only change their job when the pressure of suffering becomes unbearable. On the one hand, this is understandable because changing jobs is always associated with effort and uncertainty. On the other hand, it is also a great pity, because working time is lifetime and can certainly go hand in hand with a feeling of meaningfulness and satisfaction

A job coach gives you impulses, asks the right questions and helps you change obstructive thought patterns.
Job coaching can help you along the way. Firstly, it supports you in developing new
perspectives and gain clarity about exactly what you want – a necessary prerequisite for turning fear of change into a desire for change. Secondly, the coach will accompany you throughout the entire reorientation process if you wish.
The coach designs together with you:
- An individual catalog of measures for your application process
- A self-marketing strategy with which you feel comfortable
- Application documents according to professional standards
- Job search strategies
- Newspaper and internet advertisements
At this point we would like to emphasize once again: Job coaching is help for self-help. The outcome of job coaching is always open. Under no circumstances do you have to realize at the end that you absolutely have to change to job XY. Perhaps it is more a question of changing within the company, aiming for a job mix or taking the plunge into self-employment. Anything is possible, the decision is up to you.
More job satisfaction with job coaching – even without changing jobs
Changing jobs is one, but certainly not the only way to bring about a positive change in your professional life. Sometimes it is enough to take a close look at your current situation and realize which internal and external factors are preventing you from being happy and satisfied in your current job. Once these obstacles and problems have been identified, you can work specifically on overcoming them. Job coaching provides valuable support here, both in the analysis and in the development of personal solution strategies.
Topics that can be covered are:
- Communication with colleagues and/or superiors
- Changing the area of responsibility within the company
- Development of future prospects
- Health in the workplace
- Identification or elimination of stress factors (professional and private)
- Development of resilience strategies
- Work-life balance
If you wish, our experts can also assist you in implementing the measures that have been identified as effective. For example, we can work with you and your employer to explore the possibilities of realigning the content of your work activities.
