Employees can be dismissed.
You cannot dismiss the responsibility towards them.

Showing a sense of responsibility with new placement

You can recognize a good and sustainable company not only by the way it treats its employees on a day-to-day basis, but also by the way it behaves in the event of dismissal. Keyword: new placement. Acting in a responsible and helpful way towards departing employees has now become a matter of course for any self-respecting company. However, professional new placement should be characterized by more than just goodwill. After all, it is about supporting a person in a change situation into which they have not voluntarily entered and which almost always has an impact on other areas of their life.

Far more than just a compulsory exercise

With the new placement services offered by CEE coaches, you can ensure that the new placement of your
employees is carried out professionally and to the benefit of all those involved. As a company, you fulfill your responsibility and strengthen the good image of your company – both externally and internally. The new employee will be well prepared for new challenges and will have fond memories of your company. Employees who remain with the company are aware that they are acting responsibly; the workforce’s identification with the company increases. New placement is also a cost-effective solution in many cases, as a satisfied former employee with new career prospects will rarely be inclined to demand high severance payments or take legal action against a dismissal.

NEW PLACEMENT WITH CEE

In an ideal case, a win-win situation for everyone

Coaching as part of the new placement can take place at your company or at the premises of the respective CEE coach. As a rule, the coaching consists of one-to-one meetings with the employee concerned, although group appointments are also possible – for example, if an entire department is affected by redundancies. The primary focus of the coaching is to jointly explore what professional reorientation would make sense for the employee. A new employment relationship in a comparable company is just one of the possible options. There may also be solutions in the area of full or partial self-employment; perhaps a change of sector, retraining or further training would be sensible. New placement with a CEE coach will therefore always be open-ended and focuses on the client’s skills and wishes without losing sight of the company’s interests.

The focus is on the following points:

  • Amicable separation without potential conflict and unnecessary costs
  • Avoidance of damage to image, ideally even image gain
  • Ethically correct, partnership-based interaction with the employee
  • Promoting professional development, change as an opportunity
  • Open up prospects and simplify reassignment

The process steps of the new placement

As a rule, the CEE coach accompanies the new placement over a period of 6 to 12 months – from the processing of the dismissal situation to the successful implementation of the new placement strategy.
